Broken Bonds has rules on the different ranks and their requirements.

Starting Ranks

Academy Student: No word count required

Genin: Requires 250 word RP Sample

Chunnin: Requires 700 word RP Sample

See Alt rules to find out how to start a higher rank.

Ranking Up

Academy Students:
Gaining: Starter Rank

Genin:
Gaining: Starter Rank, Pass Genin Exam

Chunnin:
Gaining: Starter Rank, Pass Chunnin Exam

Jounin:
Gaining: Pass Jounin Exam

Elite Jounin:
Gaining: Pass Elite Jounin Exam

Anbu:
Gaining: Chosen by Kage

Anbu Captain:
Gaining: Chosen by Kage

Sannin:
Gaining: Be a Student of A Kage

Kage:
Gaining: NPC, or be chosen, Also if you attempt to gain this rank and no one responds after 48 hours the rank is yours
